Es ist 10 Uhr. Der Motor der von der Firma Sch\u00f6ma in Diepholz\/Deutschland hergestellten Lok l\u00e4uft bereits. Endlich pfeift Frau Preppa, die gleichzeitig auch Zugbegleiterin ist, kurz auf ihrer Trillerpfeife, und wir zuckeln und ruckeln auf der 15,5 Kilometer langen Strecke hinauf ins Gebirge. Die schmalste<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Schmalspurbahn\">Schmalspurbahn<\/a><\/span> Gebaut wurde die Eisenbahn von 1894 bis 1903 von der Mt.<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Pelion\">Pelion<\/a><\/span> Railway, die Spurweite betr\u00e4gt 60 Zentimeter, es ist die schmalste erhaltene<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Schmalspurbahn\">Schmalspurbahn<\/a><\/span> in<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Griechenland.\">Griechenland.<\/a><\/span> Zuckeln ist wohl der richtige Ausdruck f\u00fcr die Fahrt: Die H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit betr\u00e4gt gerade mal 20 km\/h. Dennoch ist der Lokf\u00fchrer mit seinem Beifahrer st\u00e4ndig auf der Hut, es kann immer wieder zu unverhofften Zwischenf\u00e4llen kommen, erkl\u00e4ren sie mir, was ich zun\u00e4chst nicht so recht glauben will. Doch pl\u00f6tzlich springt von rechts eine Schafherde auf die Gleise, nur ein paar Meter vor der Lok.
