Die VGJ hat bis 1987 in Etappen ihr umfangreiches Netz stilllegen m\u00fcssen bzw kleinere Abschnitte umgespurt und im Raum G\u00f6teborg auch auf Stra\u00dfenbahnbetrieb umgestellt mit der Linie 8 nach Angered.<br \/>Das heute von den schwedischen Museumsbahnfreunden betriebene Restst\u00fcck ist vom \u00fcbrigen Eisenbahnnetz v\u00f6llig isoliert und war Teil einer rund 130 km langen Bahnstrecke von Sj\u00f6vik nach G\u00f6teborg. Es wird im Sommer an Wochenenden planm\u00e4\u00dfig von bis zu neun Zugpaaren, teils mit Dampf, Diesel oder sogenannten Schienenbussen aus den f\u00fcnfziger Jahren befahren.<br \/>Die Strecke f\u00fchrt weitgehend durch Wald entlang eines Sees und hat kaum Kreuzungen mit Stra\u00dfen, ber\u00fchrt allerdings auch kaum Orte. Bei Waldbrandgefahr, wie derzeit im Juni, werden die Dampfz\u00fcge durch Dieselloks ersetzt, so dass Besucher die Dampfloks nur im gut eingerichteten Museum in Anten betrachten k\u00f6nnen. Dort ist auch mit zahlreichen Bildw\u00e4nden die Bahngeschichte der Vorg\u00e4ngerstrecken dargestellt.<br \/>Au\u00dfer der zw\u00f6lf Kilometer langen Strecke zwischen Gr\u00e4fsn\u00e4s und Anten, die an beiden Endpunkten handbetriebene Drehscheiben zum Wenden der Loks hat, gibt es noch ein kurzes St\u00fcck von Anten Richtung G\u00f6teborg zu einem Aussichtspunkt mit Tunnel, das nur von Schienenbussen befahren werden kann.<br \/>F\u00fcr den 23.
