Eine Zwischenstation hat der Wald-Eisenbahn-Verein eingelegt mit seiner Schwellen-Aktion &#8211; um zugleich neuen Schwung zu nehmen. Denn noch werden 223 Schwellen f\u00fcr den zweiten Bauabschnitt ben\u00f6tigt. Damit f\u00fcr die Eisenbahn im Martinsgrund das Signal auch f\u00fcr die Zukunft auf Gr\u00fcn steht, muss der Oberbau erneuert werden.<br \/>Vor Jahresfrist hatte der F\u00f6rderverein der Parkeisenbahn die Schwellenaktion gestartet. Mit seiner engagierten Arbeit konnten viele Spender gewonnen werden, die f\u00fcr achtzig Euro eine neue Betonschwelle erwarben. Somit war es m\u00f6glich, mit Beginn der Fahrsaison 2008 den ersten Bauabschnitt fertigzustellen. Auf einer L\u00e4nge von 230 Metern wurde nicht nur der Oberbau erneuert. Durch Rammkernsondierungen wurde der Baugrund eingesch\u00e4tzt und nach Aushub der Boden mit Kalk stabilisiert. Anschlie\u00dfende Druckplattenversuche ergaben eine f\u00fcnffach verbesserte Standfestigkeit des Bauuntergrundes.
