Zittau \u2013 Olbersdorf \u2013 Kurort Oybin sowie<br \/>?? Bertsdorf \u2013 Kurort Jonsdorf<br \/>Dr. Georg Janetzki Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer des ZVON sagte dazu: \u201eDie Zittauer Schmalspurbahn und damit der Schienenpersonennahverkehr auf diesen Strecken hat eine au\u00dferordentlich hohe touristische Bedeutung f\u00fcr die gesamte Region. Mit diesem langfristigen Vertrag wird der Betrieb der Zittauer Schmalspurbahn als ein besonderes Kulturgut langfristig gesichert sowie eine hohe Planungssicherheit f\u00fcr das Verkehrsunternehmen und dessen Besch\u00e4ftigte geschaffen.\u201c<br \/>Der Vergabe an die SOEG war eine sachsenweite Benchmarkingstudie vorausgegangen. Die SOEG ist demzufolge das wirtschaftlichste und damit kosteng\u00fcnstigste Verkehrsunternehmen in der s\u00e4chsischen Landschaft der Schmalspurbahnen.
