Neben vielen pers\u00f6nlichen Schicksalen, der Zerst\u00f6rung und Vernichtung privaten Eigentums, wirtschafllichen Sch\u00e4den an der lnfrastruktur des \u00d6ffentlichen Verkehrs sowie Vernichtung wirtschaftlicher G\u00fcter im Wei\u00dferitzkreis ist auch ein technisches Deukmal von gro\u00dfer regionaler und \u00fcberregionaler Bedeutung schwer besch\u00e4digt wurden.<br \/>Die bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt im t\u00e4glichen Einsatz befindliche dienst\u00e4lteste und unter Dampf fahrende Schmalspurbahn Deutschlands, als technisches Denkmal deklariert, ist bis zum heutigen Zeitpunkt trotz zahlreicher Proteste, Unterschriftsaktionen und anderen zahlreicher Bekundungen, auch seitens der mehrfach an dieser Stelle anwesenden Politprominenz, mit &#8222;goldenem Spaten&#8220; ausgestattet, nicht wieder aufgebaut worden.<br \/>Trotz der bekannten Rechtslage, steuerlichen Problematiken und anderen b\u00fcrokratischen Hindernissen und Personen des \u00f6ffentlichen Lebens, die ganz offensichtlich die 10 Millionen Euro an Landesmitteln f\u00fcr den Wiederaufbau lieber einsparen m\u00f6chten, sei an dieser Stelle gesagt: Schluss mit diesen ewigen Versprechungen. Lasst endlich die Bautechnik rollen und uns das 125-j\u00e4hriige Jubil\u00e4um der WTB unter Dampf feiern.
