Das Jubil\u00e4umsgeschenk war der neue Bahnhof K\u00f6bbinghauser Hammer, der am Samstag mit vielen G\u00e4sten eingeweiht und von der Dampflok &#8222;Biberlies&#8220; in Betrieb genommen wurde. <br \/>Der Ideengeber, Gr\u00fcndungsorganisator und langj\u00e4hrige MME-Vorsitzende Wolf-Dietrich Groote begr\u00fc\u00dfte am Bahnhof H\u00fcinghausen die B\u00fcrgermeister von Plettenberg und Herscheid, zahlreiche Ratsmitglieder und F\u00f6rderer der &#8222;Sauerl\u00e4nder Kleinbahn&#8220;, wie sie auch genannt wird, um Verwechselungen mit &#8222;m\u00e4rkischen Eisenbahnen&#8220; in Brandenburg zu vermeiden. Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein fuhr man mit dem Dampfzug zum neuen Bahnhof K\u00f6bbinghauser Hammer, wo Wolf-D. Groote die rund 80 G\u00e4ste begr\u00fc\u00dfte.<br \/>&#8222;Viele glaubten, die Plettenberger Museumseisenbahn sei ein Strohfeuer, das rasch verl\u00f6schen wird. Andere Personen wiederum vertrauten den 14 Gr\u00fcndungsmitgliedern und glaubten daran, dass sie ihre Ideen in die Tat umsetzen werden,&#8220; blickte Groote zur\u00fcck.
