Am 19. Juli 1897 wurde die Schmalspurstrecke Cranzahl \u2013 Oberwiesenthal feierlich eingeweiht und ist heute noch lebendiger Bestandteil s\u00e4chsischer Eisenbahngeschichte. Anlass f\u00fcr die Fichtelbergbahner, den 110. Geburtstag der r\u00fcstigen \u201ealten Dame\u201c zu feiern.<br \/>Es verkehren am 14. Juli zum regul\u00e4ren Fahrplan vier Sonderz\u00fcge zu den Zeiten 10.07 Uhr und 16.17 Uhr ab Oberwiesenthal sowie 13.15 Uhr und 17.46 Uhr ab Cranzahl. Bei diesen werden neben den Familien besonders G\u00e4ste in historischer Kleidung erwartet. Das Flair der alten Zeiten zahlt sich aus. Im Kost\u00fcm wird die Fahrt mit den Sonderz\u00fcgen der Fichtelbergbahn kostenlos! Der vor einer guten Woche an dieser Stelle angek\u00fcndigte Sonderzug von Chemnitz nach Cranzahl musste leider mangels Anmeldungen abgesagt werden.<br \/>Auf dem Bahnhofsgel\u00e4nde laden die Bahner zu einem Blick hinter die Kulissen ein. Jeweils zur vollen Stunde von 11.00 bis 16.00 Uhr \u00f6ffnet die Lokomotivwerkstatt exklusiv f\u00fcr Interessierte kostenlos Ihre T\u00fcren. Dem Lokf\u00fchrer kann auf dem F\u00fchrerstand der Diesellok L45H 083 \u00fcber die Schulter geschaut werden. Gleichzeitig werden f\u00fcr alle Eisenbahnfans die F\u00fchrerstandsmitfahrten der Diesellok von 12.00 bis 13.00 Uhr und 14.00 bis 16.00 Uhr ein au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliches Erlebnis sein.<br \/>Die Geburtstagsfahrt mit dem Bergfest auf dem Fichtelbergplateau zu verbinden ist lohnenswert.
