Zum Tag der offenen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Lokschuppent\u00fcr\">Lokschuppent\u00fcr<\/a><\/span> k\u00f6nnen beide Traktionsarten in Aktion erlebt und sich \u00fcber ihre Geschichte informiert werden. Viele Fahrzeuge der H\u00e4rtsfeldbahn konnten deren Ende im Jahr 1972 auf unterschiedlichste Weise \u00fcberleben: Sei es als Spielplatz- oder Denkmallok wie die seit 20 Jahren wieder unter Dampf stehende Lok 12 und ihre in Aufarbeitung befindliche Schwester Lok 11 oder die Triebwagen auf anderen Bahnlinien. Triebwagen T 33 fristete ein trauriges Dasein in Amstetten, bis er im Sommer 1984 vom heutigen Vereinsvorsitzenden Werner Kuhn entdeckt und geborgen wurde. Die f\u00fchrte zur Gr\u00fcndung des heute ein komplettes kleines Bahnunternehmen umfassenden H\u00e4rtsfeld-Museumsbahn-Vereins. Seit 2002 k\u00f6nnen die Fahrg\u00e4ste wieder das Fahrgef\u00fchl mit beiden Traktionsarten erleben.
