Februar die Software f\u00fcr ihre elektronischen Stellwerke in Wernigerode und Schierke aus. Gemeinsam mit der Fa. Siemens waren die Mitarbeiter der HSB-Fachabteilung Leit- und Sicherungstechnik bis zum fr\u00fchen Morgen mit den Umstellungsarbeiten besch\u00e4ftigt.<br \/>Der Zugverkehr der HSB zwischen Wernigerode und dem Brocken wird bereits seit 2002 mit Hilfe modernster Computertechnik \u00fcberwacht und gesteuert. Der Wechsel der bislang hierf\u00fcr genutzten Software war mittlerweile erforderlich geworden, um die seit dem Bau des Wernigeroder Altstadtkreisels eingetretenen \u00c4nderungen an der HSB-Trasse ber\u00fccksichtigen zu k\u00f6nnen. So konnten beispielsweise die f\u00fcr den Stellwerksrechner immer noch existierenden, obwohl bereits vor ein bzw. zwei Jahren aufgehobenen, Bahn\u00fcberg\u00e4nge an der Schlachthof- und der Ochsenteichstra\u00dfe zu den Akten gelegt werden.<br \/>Im Zuge der Umstellung versetzten die Mitarbeiter der HSB noch in derselben Nacht im Bereich Wernigerode verschiedene Signale, um die Zug- und Rangierfahrstra\u00dfen an die neue Software anzupassen und somit eine bessere Ausnutzung der vorhandenen Gleisl\u00e4ngen zu erm\u00f6glichen.
