Geschichte, steht der n\u00e4chste freudige Anlass f\u00fcr alle Freunde der s\u00e4chsischen Schmalspurbahnen ins Haus. Die s\u00e4chsische Schmalspurlokomotive 99 604, eine besondere Vertreterin der legend\u00e4ren Gattung IV K, kehrt nach Sachsen zur\u00fcck. Nachdem diese Lok \u00fcber 36 Jahre fern der Heimat war, konnte sie am 18.01.07 Dank einer Vereinbarung mit der Deutschen Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Eisenbahngeschichte (DGEG) im Historischen G\u00fcterboden Radebeul-Ost begr\u00fc\u00dft werden und kommt damit wieder dorthin zur\u00fcck, wo sie viele Jahrzehnte im Streckendienst eingesetzt war.<br \/>Die DGEG erwarb 1970 die Lok von der Deutschen Reichsbahn und hat sie so vor dem Schneidbrenner bewahrt. Musterg\u00fcltig gepflegt blieb so ein Fahrzeug erhalten, das noch im urspr\u00fcnglichen Zustand zu bewundern ist.<br \/>Nach vielf\u00e4ltigen Diskussionen zum Museumskonzept des Bochumer Museums kam die DGEG jedoch zu der \u00dcberzeugung, dass die 99 604 in ihrer Heimat besser pr\u00e4sentiert werden kann. Bereits im September 2003 hatten intensive Gespr\u00e4che zur R\u00fcckkehr der Lok nach Sachsen begonnen. Kurz vor Weihnachten 2006 konnte dann eine Einigung zwischen der DGEG und dem VSSB erzielt werden. Die Lok befindet sich Dank der Bem\u00fchungen der DGEG und des Eisenbahnmuseums Bochum-Dahlhausen in einem hervorragenden Zustand und findet so als Attraktion ihren neuen Platz in dem im Aufbau befindlichen Schmalspurbahnmuseum im Historischen G\u00fcterboden Radebeul-Ost.<br \/>M\u00f6glich ist die R\u00fcckkehr jedoch nur durch die breite Unterst\u00fctzung vieler Schmalspurbahnfreunde. &#8222;Wir sind deshalb vielen Freunden und Unterst\u00fctzern, Privatpersonen und Unternehmen, sehr dankbar, dass sie die R\u00fcckkehr dieser besonderen s\u00e4chsischen Schmalspurlokomotive erm\u00f6glicht haben&#8220;, bringt der Vereinsvorsitzende Dr. Andreas Winkler den Dank des VSSB zum Ausdruck.
