Der VSSB hat diese Lok von der Deutschen Bahn AG mit dem Ziel der R\u00fcckkehr und der musealen Erhaltung in Sachsen erworben, wie dies im Herbst letzten Jahres bereits mit der Lok 99 606 gelungen war.<br \/>Bei der 99 781 handelt es sich um eine im Jahr 1953 in Babelsberg gebaute so genannte s\u00e4chsische VII K Neubaulokomotive, die bis zum Jahr 1992 auf verschiedenen Strecken in Sachsen ihren Dienst versehen hat, so u. a. in Freital, im Thumer Netz, Oberwiesenthal und Radebeul.<br \/>Vereinsvorsitzender Dr. Andreas Winkler zum Erwerb der historischen Lok: \u201eWir freuen uns, dass wir mit der 99 781 das letzte noch in N\u00fcrnberg befindliche s\u00e4chsische Schmalspurfahrzeug in die Heimat zur\u00fcckholen k\u00f6nnen. Diese Lokomotive soll nach mehr als 13 Jahren ungesch\u00fctztem Aufenthalt im Freien in Zukunft wettergesch\u00fctzt untergebracht und so f\u00fcr die Zukunft museal erhalten werden.&#8220;<br \/>Die R\u00fcckf\u00fchrung nach Sachsen wird nach Abstimmung der technischen Einzelheiten mit dem DB Museum in N\u00fcrnberg in den n\u00e4chsten Wochen erfolgen.<br \/>Winkler zum zuk\u00fcnftigen Aufenthaltsort der 99 781: \u201eAuch dieses Fahrzeug wird ins Erzgebirge kommen.
