Vor zwei Jahren wurde der Auftrag erteilt und seitdem sitzen die Konstrukteure und Entwickler an den konkreten Entw\u00fcrfen f\u00fcr den Neuzuwachs.<br \/>Bei der Konstruktion wurden h\u00f6chste Sicherheitsma\u00dfst\u00e4be angelegt. Somit werden sie die sichersten Fahrzeuge auf Schienen sein und unter anderm den heute geforderten Standard bei Brandschutz bei weitem \u00fcbererf\u00fcllen.<br \/>Die Karosserien sind bereits fertiggestellt und lackiert. Zur Zeit werden die Fenster und T\u00fcrsysteme sowie die Antriebsanlage eingebaut. Im Juli 2006 soll der erste neue Triebwagen in Betrieb gehen.
