Nach nur einem Jahr Bauzeit ist nun eine etwa 10.000 Quadratmeter gro\u00dfe Fahrzeughalle entstanden, in die auch noch eine Wagenwaschanlage integriert ist.<br \/>Auf ca. 170 Metern L\u00e4nge und 35 Metern Breite k\u00f6nnen vor allem nachts etwa 65 Eisenbahnfahrzeuge der HSB auf sechs Gleisen gesch\u00fctzt vor der Witterung abgestellt werden. Zwei Gleise haben eine Arbeitsgrube erhalten, um kleinere auch Instandhaltungsma\u00dfnahmen an den Fahrzeugen ausf\u00fchren zu k\u00f6nnen.<br \/>Am 1. Dezember 2005 um 10 Uhr soll die neue Fahrzeughalle offiziell eingeweiht werden.
