Die historische Kleinbahn im H\u00f6henpark Killesberg nimmt wieder Fahrt auf: Werner Koch, er\u00f6ffnete die diesj\u00e4hrige Saison. Seit Karfreitag f\u00e4hrt die Kleinbahn in Normalbetrieb. Bei der Er\u00f6ffnung dabei waren die F\u00f6rderer und Kooperationspartner der Kleinbahn, Dr. Peter H\u00f6flinger, kaufm\u00e4nnischer Vorstand und Vorstandssprecher der Stuttgarter Stra\u00dfenbahnen AG (SSB), sowie Uwe Brodbeck und Bernd Nusch vom F\u00f6rderverein der Kleinbahn. Die SSB unterst\u00fctzt das Garten-, Friedhofs- und Forstamt, das seit 2007 Betreiber der Kleinbahn ist, beim Aufbau eines weiteren Haltepunktes.<\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus macht die SSB f\u00fcr die Kleinbahn Werbung auf Stadtbahnen und den Fernseh-Bildschirmen an den Haltestationen. Ein kompletter Zug der Kleinbahn wird daf\u00fcr mit Werbung der SSB ausgestattet. Der F\u00f6rderverein der Kleinbahn wird in dieser Saison sein Engagement noch ausbauen. Das Zugpersonal bekommt vom Kleinbahnverein eine typische historische Uniform. Ebenfalls ist ein Dampfbahntag im Sommerhalbjahr geplant. Es wird eine Beschallungsanlage angeschafft, die die Fahrg\u00e4ste \u00fcber die Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten entlang der Zugstrecke informiert. Die neuen Ma\u00dfnahmen und Aktivit\u00e4ten sollen die Fahrgastzahlen weiterhin steigern und das Rekordergebnis von 2007 mit \u00fcber 102.000 Fahrg\u00e4sten weiter erh\u00f6hen.<\/p>\n<p>Werner Koch unterstrich die Bedeutung der Kleinbahn im H\u00f6henpark Killesberg: &#8222;Ich freue mich sehr, dass wir neben der sehr hochwertigen Parkanlage auch die Kleinbahn im H\u00f6henpark Killesberg als zus\u00e4tzliche Attraktion zeigen k\u00f6nnen. Der H\u00f6henpark ist bei Stuttgartern und bei G\u00e4sten aus aller Welt der beliebteste Park in der Landeshauptstadt. Er wird beim Bundeswettbewerb Entente Florale, an dem Stuttgart, vertreten durch das Garten-, Friedhofs- und Forstamt, in diesem Jahr teilnimmt, eine zentrale Rolle spielen.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Unter der Woche fahren die Kleinbahnen jede halbe Stunde, am Wochenende \u00f6fter. Die Wartezeiten bis zur n\u00e4chsten Fahrt sind so kalkulierbar. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wurden die Betriebszeiten von Mitte M\u00e4rz bis Mitte Oktober verl\u00e4ngert. Sonn- und Feiertags f\u00e4hrt die Bahn von 10 bis 19 Uhr, Montag, Dienstag und Donnerstag bis Samstag von 14 bis 18 Uhr, Mittwoch von 10 bis 18 Uhr. In den Pfingst- und Sommerferien kann man t\u00e4glich von 10 bis 19 Uhr seine Runden drehen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Fahrpreise f\u00fcr die Kleinbahn k\u00f6nnen auch im Jahr 2008 beibehalten werden.
