Der Freistaat f\u00f6rdert das Vorhaben mit 75 Prozent der f\u00f6rderf\u00e4higen Kosten.  &#8222;Die langfristige finanzielle Absicherung des Betriebs der Schmalspurbahnen ist ein klares Bekenntnis des Freistaates zur s\u00e4chsischen Dampfbahntradition. Im aktuellen Haushalt sind f\u00fcr Investitionen in die Schmalspurbahnen f\u00fcr 2013 und 2014 insgesamt sechs Millionen Euro eingestellt.
