Die umweltfreundlichen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Schmalspur-Fahrzeuge\">Schmalspur-Fahrzeuge<\/a><\/span> sollen die veraltete Dieselflotte ersetzen.<br \/>\n\tEs ist ein Auftrag, wie er nicht alle Tage hereinkommt. Und Stadler darf sich als Pionier f&uuml;hlen. Die Zillertalbahn hat beim Ostschweizer Schienenfahrzeugbauer f&uuml;nf Triebz&uuml;ge bestellt. Dar&uuml;ber hinaus besteht eine Option auf drei weitere Fahrzeuge. Das Besondere: Die Z&uuml;ge f&uuml;r die Tiroler<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Schmalspurbahn\">Schmalspurbahn<\/a><\/span> mit einer Spurweite von<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23760\">760<\/a><\/span> Millimetern werden mit Wasserstoff betrieben.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDie Zeit dr&auml;ngt: Der erste Zug soll bereits 2020 im Probebetrieb rollen. Ab dem Winterfahrplan 2022 will die Zillertalbahn dann als erste Schmalspurbahn der Welt mit Wasserstoff verkehren, wie Helmut Schreiner sagt, in der Gesch&auml;ftsleitung zust&auml;ndig f&uuml;r die Technik. Die neuen Stadler-Fahrzeuge sollen die Dieselflotte ersetzen, die teils noch aus den 1980er-Jahren stammt. Das Beschaffungsvolumen betr&auml;gt inklusive des Baus einer Anlage zur Herstellung des Wasserstoffs 80 Millionen Euro.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tUmwelfreundlich, bequemer und schneller\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDank der Umstellung wird die Zillertalbahn ab Ende 2022 komplett CO\u2082-frei fahren. Damit f&auml;llt die Emission von 2160 Tonnen des klimasch&auml;dlichen Treibhausgases weg, und die Bahn spart im Jahr 800&#39;000 Liter Diesel, was etwa 30 Tanklastwagen entspricht. Die Energiekosten sollen sich insgesamt halbieren. F&uuml;r die Passagiere bedeutet das neue Rollmaterial, dass sie k&uuml;nftig bequemer und schneller reisen.
