Wir blicken heute einmal auf ihre Anf&auml;nge vor 120 Jahren. Von Bodo Baumert<br \/>\n\t&bdquo;Die Spreewaldbahn ist wie kaum eine andere Bahn nicht nur den Anwohnern ans Herz gewachsen, sondern auch denen, die sie im Regelbetrieb nicht einmal kennengelernt haben. Sie ist, obgleich man mit solchen Formulierungen vorsichtig umgehen sollte, zur Legende geworden.&ldquo; So schreibt es der 2014 verstorbene Autor Erich<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Preu&szlig;\">Preu&szlig;<\/a><\/span> in seinem Standardwerk zu Spreewaldbahn, die bereits 1970 ihren Betrieb eingestellt hat.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tWie jede Legende, braucht auch diese einen historischen Anfang. Der liegt 120 Jahre zur&uuml;ck &ndash; im Kreis L&uuml;bben. Der Hobbyhistoriker Bernd Blume hat diesen Anfang in diesem Jubil&auml;umsjahr noch einmal genau unter die Lupe genommen und f&uuml;r den im Herbst erscheinenden Heimatkalender vorbereitet. Die RUNDSCHAU durfte schon einmal einen Blick hineinwerfen.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBevor zum Pfingstfest 1898 die ersten Passagiere auf der neuen Strecke der Spreewaldbahn fahren durften, waren jahrelange Vorarbeiten n&ouml;tig. Die Ausgangslage im damaligen Landkreis L&uuml;bben war denkbar schlecht. &bdquo;F&uuml;r die an Bahnlinien gelegenen Orte ergaben sich bedeutende wirtschaftliche Vorteile gegen&uuml;ber den abseits liegen gebliebenen Regionen&ldquo;, berichtet Bernd Blume. Der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Spreewald\">Spreewald<\/a><\/span> wurde allerdings von der Bahn nur gestreift. Im westlichsten und &ouml;stlichsten Teil des Landkreises L&uuml;bben gab es einen Halt, dazwischen 40 Kilometer lang nichts.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tDas war vor allem zwei M&auml;nnern ein Dorn im Auge. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lr-online.de\/serien\/lausitzer-geschichte\/wie-die-spreewaldbahn-in-die-spur-kam_aid-23493923\">Ernst Otto Graf von<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Houwald,\">Houwald,<\/a><\/span> &nbsp;Standesherr in<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Straupitz\">Straupitz<\/a><\/span> und Landrat des Kreises L&uuml;bben von 1881 bis 1887, sowie Dietrich Graf von der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Schulenburg,\">Schulenburg,<\/a><\/span> Standesherr von<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Lieberose\">Lieberose<\/a><\/span> und von Houwalds Nachfolger &#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>https:\/\/www.lr-online.de\/serien\/lausitzer-geschichte\/wie-die-spreewaldbahn-in-die-spur-kam_aid-23493923 #L&uuml;bben.
