Der Heimatverein<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Berge\">Berge<\/a><\/span> will die beiden ausgedienten<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23G&uuml;terwaggons\">G&uuml;terwaggons<\/a><\/span> der ehemaligen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Kleinbahn\">Kleinbahn<\/a><\/span> restaurieren. F&uuml;r dieses Projekt suchen die Heimatfreunde noch Unterst&uuml;tzer.<br \/>\n\tDie Kleinbahn von<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Quakenbr&uuml;ck\">Quakenbr&uuml;ck<\/a><\/span> &uuml;ber Berge nach<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Lingen\">Lingen<\/a><\/span> ist schon lange Geschichte. Vor wenigen Jahren wurde der ehemalige Bahnhof in Berge abgerissen und an dessen Stelle Seniorenwohnungen errichtet. Jetzt erinnern nur noch zwei gedeckte Waggons und der Stra&szlig;enname Schienenweg an die ehemalige<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Schmalspurbahn.\">Schmalspurbahn.<\/a><\/span> Die stark renovierungsbed&uuml;rftigen Waggons geh&ouml;ren dem Heimatverein Berge, der sie demn&auml;chst restaurieren will.<br \/>\n\tDen l&auml;ndlichen Raum erschlie&szlig;en<br \/>\n\tDie Kleinbahnlinie fuhr zwischen dem 31. Mai 1904 und dem 31. Mai 1952. Genau 48 Jahre nach der Er&ouml;ffnung wurde diese f&uuml;r die l&auml;ndliche Bev&ouml;lkerung damals wichtige Linie stillgelegt. Unter anderem wurden Sand und Kies f&uuml;r Baustellen in<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Dalvers\">Dalvers<\/a><\/span> mit der Bahn angeliefert, wusste Bernd Sandhaus zu berichten. Und sie diente auch dem Personen- und Sch&uuml;lerverkehr. Die knapp 57 Kilometer lange Kleinbahn mit ihren Bahnh&ouml;fen entstand aus dem Bestreben der Gemeinde Berge, den umgebenden l&auml;ndlichen Raum verkehrsm&auml;&szlig;ig besser zu erschlie&szlig;en. Berge war die gr&ouml;&szlig;te Zwischenstation. Eigene Bahnhofsgeb&auml;ude besa&szlig; die Kleinbahn nur an den Bahnh&ouml;fen Lingen,<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Bawinkel,\">Bawinkel,<\/a><\/span><span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Gersten,\">Gersten,<\/a><\/span><span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Wettrup,\">Wettrup,<\/a><\/span> Berge,<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Menslage\">Menslage<\/a><\/span> und Quakenbr&uuml;ck. An den &uuml;brigen Stationen wurde der Verkauf der Fahrkarten und die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23St&uuml;ckgutabfertigung\">St&uuml;ckgutabfertigung<\/a><\/span> durch Agenten, oftmals die Dorfwirte, erledigt.<br \/>\n\tFinanzierung &uuml;ber GmbH sichergestellt<br \/>\n\tEin erster Versuch, ein solches Bahnprojekt zu realisieren, scheiterte 1897. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.noz.de\/lokales\/samtgemeinde-fuerstenau\/artikel\/1380309\/heimatverein-berge-will-bahnwaggons-wieder-herstellen\">Erst nachdem die Gemeinde Wettrup ebenfalls Interesse an einer Bahnverbindung gezeigt hatte, wurde ein Komitee der beiden beteiligten Kreise Lingen und Bersenbr&uuml;ck und der an der &#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>https:\/\/www.noz.de\/lokales\/samtgemeinde-fuerstenau\/artikel\/1380309\/heimatverein-berge-will-bahnwaggons-wieder-herstellen Berge.
