Um auch im Jahr 2014 viele G\u00e4ste und Besucher auf schmaler Spur begr\u00fc\u00dfen zu k\u00f6nnen, haben die Eisenbahngesellschaft, der VVO sowie die beiden Vereine einen umfangreichen Veranstaltungskatalog mit \u00fcber neunzig Terminen erstellt.  Die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Wei\u00dferitztalbahn\">Wei\u00dferitztalbahn<\/a><\/span> wurde im vergangenen Jahr von rund 135.000 Fahrg\u00e4sten genutzt. \u201eDas Juni-Hochwasser hat hier deutliche Spuren hinterlassen: Gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahr mussten wir einen R\u00fcckgang von 13 Prozent hinnehmen\u201c, erl\u00e4utert Mirko Fro\u00df. \u201eWegen der Hochwassersch\u00e4den war die Bahn im Juni zwei Wochen au\u00dfer Betrieb, der parallele Wanderweg ist ja sogar erst seit Ende des Jahres wieder nutzbar.\u201c  H\u00f6hepunkt des vergangenen Jahres war das Schmalspurbahn-Festival im Juli. \u201eZum 130. Geburtstag der Wei\u00dferitztalbahn konnten wir \u00fcber 12.000 Besucher begr\u00fc\u00dfen. Das Festwochenende, an dem auch die Talsperre<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Malter\">Malter<\/a><\/span> ihren 100. Geburtstag feierte, hat bewiesen, dass die Akteure in der Region gemeinsam viel erreichen k\u00f6nnen\u201c, so Fro\u00df.  Mit 234.000 Fahrg\u00e4sten verzeichnete die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23L\u00f6\u00dfnitzgrundbahn\">L\u00f6\u00dfnitzgrundbahn<\/a><\/span> einen leichten R\u00fcckgang um 4,6 Prozent. Angesichts der Rekordzahl im Jahr 2012 ist das ein gutes Ergebnis: \u201eInsbesondere der lange Winter und der durch das Hochwasser verursachte R\u00fcckgang bei den Touristenzahlen sind Gr\u00fcnde f\u00fcr den D\u00e4mpfer im vergangenen Jahr\u201c, sagt Fro\u00df.  Potenzial sehen die SDG und der VVO insbeson dere im<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Fahrradtourismus:\">Fahrradtourismus:<\/a><\/span> \u201eDie Zahl der mitgenommen R\u00e4der ist nach wie vor recht gering\u201c, betont Mirko Fro\u00df. \u201eDabei fahren die Z\u00fcge mit Packwagen, die die Mitnahme ganz bequem erm\u00f6glichen. Wir werden die guten Angebote daher gemeinsam in diesem Jahr noch st\u00e4rker vermarkten.\u201c  Zur intensiven Vermarktung geh\u00f6rt auch in der kommenden Saison ein umfangreicher Katalog an Veranstaltungen, Wanderungen und Sonderfahrten mit und rund um die historischen Bahnen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus hat die SDG die Kooperation mit dem Tourismusverband Erzgebirge ausgebaut um die Bekanntheit der Wei\u00dferitztalbahn weiter zu steigern: \u201eSeit dem 1.
