Am 25. Januar gibt es einen Vortrag zum Buch im Stadtmuseum.<br> Gera. Die industrielle Entwicklung von Gera in der zweiten H\u00e4lfte des 19. Jahrhunderts und die damit auch steigenden Einwohnerzahlen erforderten ein modernes innerst\u00e4dtisches Verkehrsmittel. Ein ab 1877 bestehendes Droschkenunternehmen konnte die Bef\u00f6rderungsnachfrage keinesfalls decken. Ein Gesuch einer<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Pferdestra\u00dfenbahn\">Pferdestra\u00dfenbahn<\/a><\/span> 1884 von Untermhaus nach Pforten mit G\u00fcterverkehr wurde abgelehnt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Jahre von 1892 bis 1901<br> Die Konzessionsbedingungen f\u00fcr die Geraer Stra\u00dfenbahn Aktien-Gesellschaft vom 28. Februar 1892 regelten neben dem Personenverkehr auch den innerst\u00e4dtischen G\u00fcterverkehr.
