In den gro\u00dfen St\u00e4dten und Ballungsr\u00e4umen konnten die Menschen damals schon die neuen Stra\u00dfenbahnen benutzen, um ihre t\u00e4glichen Bersorgungen zu erledigen. Doch auf dem Lande war die Situation zun\u00e4chst noch schwierig. Zwar wurde zahlreiche Ortschaften durch die Staatsbahnen nach und nach an die gro\u00dfe, weite Welt angeschlossen. Trotzdem gab es immer noch Regionen, die nicht von der gro\u00dfen Eisenbahn erschlossen wurden.
