November 1919 starben zwischen M\u00fcgeln und D\u00f6beln f\u00fcnf Menschen, als ein Personenzug nach dem Zusammensto\u00df mit einem G\u00fcterzug von einer Br\u00fccke st\u00fcrzte. 25 Reisende wurden damals zum Teil schwer verletzt. Seit Sonnabend erinnert eine<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Gedenktafel\">Gedenktafel<\/a><\/span> an die Toten und das Ungl\u00fcck in<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Schrebitz.\">Schrebitz.<\/a><\/span> Die ganze Geschichte recherchiert und die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Gedenkstele\">Gedenkstele<\/a><\/span> initiiert haben drei Vereinen aus der Region.<\/p>\n<p>Kleine Ursache, fatale Wirkung<br \/>\nAm 18. November 1919 war der Personenzug 5720 von M\u00fcgeln in Richtung D\u00f6beln unterwegs. 12 Uhr hielt der Zug fahrplanm\u00e4\u00dfig an der Bahnstation<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23T\u00f6llsch\u00fctz.\">T\u00f6llsch\u00fctz.<\/a><\/span> Hier musste er auf den entgegenkommenden G\u00fcterzug aus D\u00f6beln warten. W\u00e4hrend der Pause wurden G\u00fcter entladen, Fahrg\u00e4ste stiegen ein oder aus. Allerdings hatte es die Zugbesatzung vers\u00e4umt die Einfahrtsweiche so zu stellen, dass der entgegenkommende G\u00fcterzug auf dem Nachbargleis fahren konnte. &#8222;Durch Schneeverwehungen oder schlechte Sicht hat das die Besatzung des G\u00fcterzuges nicht mitbekommen und ist auf das Gleis gefahren, wo der Personenzug stand&#8220;, erz\u00e4hlt Andreas Lobe vom Heimatverein Mogelin MDR SACHSEN.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Die Lokbesatzung von dem Personenzug wollte noch zur\u00fccksetzen, aber kurz vor dem Aufprall haben sie dann das F\u00fchrerhaus verlassen.
