In der Baracke 13 der \u00bbBarackenstadt\u00ab nahm am 5. Januar 1970 das \u00bbZentrale Organisationsb\u00fcro 6. Pioniertreffen\u00ab die Arbeit auf. An der Ecke Karl-Liebknecht-Stra\u00dfe\/Bahnhofstra\u00dfe \u00f6ffnete die Gastst\u00e4tte \u00bbLausitzer Broiler\u00ab. Die hiesige Tageszeitung kritisierte Planr\u00fcckst\u00e4nde bei der Fertigstellung der Wohnscheibe in der Stadtpromenade. Ein Ereignis jedoch, von dem viele Menschen betroffen waren, spielte in der Zeitung zum Jahreswechsel kaum eine Rolle. Am 3. Die aufstrebende Textilstadt sowie die Fabrikanten und Gro\u00dfgrundbesitzer der Niederlausitz wollten die Transportl\u00fccke zwischen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Goyatz,\">Goyatz,<\/a><\/span> das von Berlin aus auf dem Wasserweg erreichbar war, und Cottbus schlie\u00dfen.
