Bereits 2016 kam die Lokomotive als<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Leihgabe\">Leihgabe<\/a><\/span> der Stadt<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Steinheim\">Steinheim<\/a><\/span> an der Murr im Landkreis Ludwigsburg zum \u00d6chsle. Der von vielen Wechself\u00e4llen gepr\u00e4gten Geschichte der Lok kann damit ein neues Kapitel hinzugef\u00fcgt werden.<\/p>\n<p>Erbaut 1918 von der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Lokfabrik\">Lokfabrik<\/a><\/span><span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Henschel\">Henschel<\/a><\/span> in Kassel war die Lok urspr\u00fcnglich f\u00fcr einen Einsatz bei den Kaiserlichen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Heeresfeldbahnen\">Heeresfeldbahnen<\/a><\/span> in der Milit\u00e4rgeneraldirektion Warschau vorgesehen. Als die Lok fertig gestellt werden konnte, war der Erste Weltkrieg im Osten allerdings schon vorbei. Die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23S\u00e4chsischen\">S\u00e4chsischen<\/a><\/span> Staatseisenbahnen nutzten die Chance und erwarben die Lok 1919 mit einigen weiteren baugleichen Loks aus der Konkursmasse des Kaiserreichs. In Sachsen wurden die Loks als sechste Baureihe von Schmalspurloks als s\u00e4chsische<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23VI\">VI<\/a><\/span> K benannt und bew\u00e4hrten sich sehr gut. Als 1928 die Z\u00fcge auf der \u00d6chsle Strecke f\u00fcr die bis dahin alleine eingesetzten Mallet Maschinen zu schwer wurden, stationierte die Deutsche Reichsbahn die Lok 99 651 mit einer Schwesterlok nach Ochsenhausen um. In Ochsenhausen wurde die Lok schon bald zur Stammlok der Strecke und zog 1964 auch die Abschiedsz\u00fcge des Personenverkehrs. 1965 stationierte die Bundesbahn die Lok zur<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Bottwartalbahn\">Bottwartalbahn<\/a><\/span> zwischen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Marbach\">Marbach<\/a><\/span> am Neckar und<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Heilbronn\">Heilbronn<\/a><\/span> um, wo die Lok noch bis 1969 zum Einsatz kam. Die Stadt<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Steinheim\">Steinheim<\/a><\/span> nutzte anschlie\u00dfend die Chance und lotste die Lok auf einen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Denkmalsockel\">Denkmalsockel<\/a><\/span> am Bahnhof Steinheim. Zum Gl\u00fcck blieb sie so in ihrem letzten Einsatzbereich erhalten, obwohl sie die meiste Einsatzzeit in Oberschwaben verbracht hatte. Dem Wind und Wetter schutzlos ausgesetzt, fristete die Lok dort bis 2016 ihr zum Schluss eher trauriges Dasein.<\/p>\n<p>2016 konnte der \u00d6chsle Verein die Lok als Leihgabe von der Stadt Steinheim \u00fcbernehmen, nachdem man sich schon 1984 vergeblich um die Lok bem\u00fcht hatte. Damals wollte man sich jedoch partout nicht von der Lok trennen. In Ochsenhausen wurde zwischenzeitlich die Lok teilweise neu lackiert, ein neuer Holzboden im F\u00fchrerhaus eingebaut, Glasfenster erneuert, die elektrische Anlage der Lok repariert und die Lok provisorisch rollf\u00e4hig gemacht, um diese gesch\u00fctzt im Lokschuppen unterstellen zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Weitere Arbeiten an der Lok, um die vollst\u00e4ndige<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Rollf\u00e4higkeit\">Rollf\u00e4higkeit<\/a><\/span> wieder herzustellen, sind relativ teuer. Gr\u00f6\u00dfere Betr\u00e4ge wollte der Verein jedoch nicht in eine Leihgabe investieren. Die Bitte, den Leihvertrag durch einen Kaufvertrag zu ersetzen, stimmte der Gemeinderat von Steinheim nun zu. \u201eWir freuen uns, die Lok in unser Eigentum \u00fcbernehmen zu k\u00f6nnen und bedanken uns bei der Stadt Steinheim f\u00fcr die gute L\u00f6sung\u201c freut sich Benny Bechter, Vorsitzender des \u00d6chsle-Vereins. In den kommenden Monaten und Jahren sollen nun weitere Arbeiten an der Lok erfolgen, um diese museumsgerecht pr\u00e4sentieren zu k\u00f6nnen.
