Zum Einsatz kommt dabei eine<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Diesellokomotive\">Diesellokomotive<\/a><\/span> der Baureihe<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23199.8,\">199.8,<\/a><\/span> die auch unter dem Spitznamen \u201e#Harzkamel\u201c bekannt ist.<br \/>\nDie HSB reagiert damit auf das zwischen Himmelfahrt und Pfingsten zu erwartende h\u00f6here Fahrgastaufkommen und vergr\u00f6\u00dfert mit der Ma\u00dfnahme ihre Bef\u00f6rderungskapazit\u00e4ten in diesem Zeitraum. Die Abfahrtzeiten der Z\u00fcge ab Wernigerode um 10:25 und 14:55 Uhr sowie die R\u00fcckfahrten von Schierke um 12:24 und 17:03 Uhr bleiben dabei bestehen.<br \/>\nSeit November letzten Jahres ruht der Zugbetrieb des kommunalen Bahnunternehmens pandemiebedingt auf einem Gro\u00dfteil des Streckennetzes. Neben dem reduzierten Verkehr mit Triebwagen zwischen Wernigerode und Schierke fahren derzeit nur zwischen Nordhausen und Ilfeld fahrplanm\u00e4\u00dfige Z\u00fcge.
