Ihre beiden Schweizer Tr\u00e4ger erhalten f\u00fcr die M\u00fchen sechs Goldst\u00fccke, wie das Rigi-Kulm-Hotel in seinen Annalen festh\u00e4lt. Der Tourismus bl\u00fcht auf, schon drei Jahre sp\u00e4ter bef\u00f6rdert die Bahn 50\u2009000 G\u00e4ste im Jahr. Die Region um das Bergmassiv Rigi wird zur Sommerfrische par excellence f\u00fcr wohlhabende Europ\u00e4erinnen und Europ\u00e4er.
