Bezirkshauptmannes von Schwaz, Herrn Anton Knei\u00dfl, die Versammlung des erweiterten Comitees f\u00fcr die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Herstellung\">Herstellung<\/a><\/span> einer Bahn statt. Von Seite des Tirolischen Landtages wurden 100.000 und vom Staate 150.000 Gulden zu Bahnbauzwecken bewilligt.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Damals wurden zwei Projekte verfolgt, und zwar jenes einer dampfbetriebenen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Schmalspurbahn\">Schmalspurbahn<\/a><\/span> mit dem Kopfbahnhof in<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Jenbach.\">Jenbach.<\/a><\/span> Es ist dies die Trasse, wie wir sie heute kennen. Das zweite Vorhaben war jenes, das vom S\u00e4gewerks- und Gerberfabriks-Besitzer Josef Obholzer favorisiert wurde. Dieses sah eine elektrifizierte Strecke mit Normalspur auf der orografisch rechten Seite des Zillers und Brixlegg als Kopfbahnhof vor. \u201eMagnat Obholzer und Consorten\u201c, wie die Verfechter dieser Variante in der Zeller Chronik bezeichnet werden, waren allerdings nicht in der Lage, das Stammkapitel rechtzeitig bereitzustellen. Landtagsabgeordneter Kaspar Schneider, Dr. Raimund Rainer und Franz Prantl, die federf\u00fchrend f\u00fcr die Errichtung der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Zillertalbahn\">Zillertalbahn<\/a><\/span> in ihrer heutigen Ausf\u00fchrung verantwortlich zeichneten, waren in der Lage, infolge ihrer Beziehungen zu Politik und Wirtschaft entsprechend z\u00fcgiger zu agieren, sodass im Reichsblatt vom 6. Dezember 1899 die vier Tage vorher \u201eauf Grund Allerh\u00f6chster Erm\u00e4chtigung ausgestellte<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Conzessionsurkunde\">Conzessionsurkunde<\/a><\/span> f\u00fcr eine schmalspurige<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Localbahn\">Localbahn<\/a><\/span> von Jenbach nach<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Mairhofen\">Mairhofen<\/a><\/span> (Zillerthalbahn)\u201c ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde. Bereits im Jahre 1898 erfolgten Vermessungsarbeiten, die Grundlage f\u00fcr eine<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Trassierung\">Trassierung<\/a><\/span> waren.<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahre 1899 wird dazu weiters vermerkt: \u201eAm 17.
