Der \u00e4lteste<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Eisenbahntunnel\">Eisenbahntunnel<\/a><\/span> Deutschlands wird Teil der Schau in der Solestadt sein. Die Landesgartenschaugesellschaft unterzeichnete jetzt eine Kooperationsvereinbarung mit den Vereinen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Eisenbahnfreunde\">Eisenbahnfreunde<\/a><\/span><span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23K\u00f6tzschau\">K\u00f6tzschau<\/a><\/span> und Mitteldeutsche<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23TT-Modulbahner.\">TT-Modulbahner.<\/a><\/span> \u201eDamit haben wir zwei bew\u00e4hrte Partner gewonnen\u201c, freut sich B\u00fcrgermeister Christoph Schulze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Tunnel\">Tunnel<\/a><\/span> auf dem ehemaligen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Salinegel\u00e4nde\">Salinegel\u00e4nde<\/a><\/span> entstand mit dem Bau der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Kohleneisenbahn\">Kohleneisenbahn<\/a><\/span> Tollwitz-D\u00fcrrenberg und wurde im Er\u00f6ffnungsjahr<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%231836\">1836<\/a><\/span> er\u00f6ffnet. Einst wurde er daf\u00fcr genutzt, um Braunkohle mit einer<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Feldbahn\">Feldbahn<\/a><\/span> zu transportieren, erst mithilfe von Pferden, sp\u00e4ter mit Dieselloks. Urspr\u00fcnglich hatte er eine L\u00e4nge von 177 Metern, was damals eine Besonderheit war und in der Fachwelt f\u00fcr Aufsehen sorgte. In diesem Jahr feiert er seinen 185. Geburtstag. Die Pr\u00e4sentation des Tunnels auf der Landesgartenschau soll auch dazu dienen, dieses Relikt bekannter zu machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eWir wollen den Besuchern den Kohletunnel n\u00e4her bringen\u201c<br>\u201eWir wollen den Besuchern den Kohletunnel n\u00e4her bringen. Selbst viele Menschen aus Bad D\u00fcrrenberg kennen ihn nicht\u201c, sagt David Falk, der Vorsitzende der Eisenbahnfreunde K\u00f6tzschau. Der Tunnel soll w\u00e4hrend der Landesgartenschau f\u00fcr F\u00fchrungen genutzt werden. \u201eDaf\u00fcr werden wir ihn baulich sanieren\u201c, k\u00fcndigt der Laga-Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer Michael Steinland an.
