Wie Kapplick erkl\u00e4rt, stellte der VEB Lokomotivbau\u00a0Karl Marx\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de\/?tag=babelsberg\">#Babelsberg<\/a>\u00a0unter der Typbezeichnung<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23V10C\">V10C<\/a><\/span> zwischen 1959 und 1975 eine Serie von 496 Exemplaren f\u00fcr unterschiedliche<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Spurweiten\">Spurweiten<\/a><\/span> her. Das V10C deutet auf einen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Verbrennungsmotor\">Verbrennungsmotor<\/a><\/span> mit 100 PS Leistung und 3 Achsen hin. Urspr\u00fcnglich war die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23schmalspurige\">schmalspurige<\/a><\/span> Diesellokomotive f\u00fcr den Rangierdienst in Werk- und Anschlussbahnen konzipiert. Diesen Anforderungen gen\u00fcgten ein luftgek\u00fchlter 6-Zylinder-Dieselmotor, ein mechanisches 4-Gang-Stufengetriebe und eine Wurfhebelbremse. Doch ab 1990 \u00e4nderte sich das. Vielerorts sind Betriebe geschlossen worden und die Werkloks haben auf Privat- oder Museumsbahnen eine neue Heimat gefunden.
