Ganz gem\u00e4chlich setzen sich Pferd und Karren vom<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Museumsbahnhof\">Museumsbahnhof<\/a><\/span> Richtung<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Westend\">Westend<\/a><\/span> in Bewegung. Von der Weide neben den Schienen schaut der schwarz-wei\u00dfe Eddie dem Gespann hinterher. Er hat heute frei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spiekeroog ist eine der sieben<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23ostfriesischen\">ostfriesischen<\/a><\/span><span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Inseln.\">Inseln.<\/a><\/span> Sie ist die zweite von rechts \u2013 zwischen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Wangerooge\">Wangerooge<\/a><\/span> und<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Langeoog.\">Langeoog.<\/a><\/span> Fr\u00fcher befand sich die Siedlung weiter im Westen. Aufgrund von D\u00fcnenabbr\u00fcchen und Versandung siedelte die Bev\u00f6lkerung um 1600 dorthin um, wo sich bis heute der Ort befindet. \u201eSpiekeroog hat ungef\u00e4hr 800 Einwohner und den Bauboom der siebziger Jahre nicht mitgemacht\u201c, informiert G\u00e4stef\u00fchrerin Anja Sander: \u201eKeine Hochh\u00e4user.
