September, die aus<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Togo\">Togo<\/a><\/span> zur\u00fcckgeholte, originale Lok der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Geilenkirchener\">Geilenkirchener<\/a><\/span> Kreisbahn aus dem Jahr 1955 getauft. Den 16.und 17. September hat die Bundesregierung zum \u201eTag der Schiene\u201c ausgerufen. An diesen beiden Tagen sind zahlreiche Veranstaltungen bundesweit bei Herstellern und Eisenbahnen vorgesehen, um das mediale Interesse auf den schienengebundenen Verkehr fl\u00e4chendeckend zu lenken. Im Verbund mit dem<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Bundesverband\">Bundesverband<\/a><\/span> der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Museums-\">Museums-<\/a><\/span> und<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Touristikbahnen\">Touristikbahnen<\/a><\/span> wird das<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Kleinbahnmuseum\">Kleinbahnmuseum<\/a><\/span> Selfkantbahn auch diesem Ruf folgen und die Gelegenheit nutzen, die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Diesellokomotive\">Diesellokomotive<\/a><\/span> V11 offiziell in Betrieb zu nehmen und durch politische Vertreter taufen zu lassen. Die originale Diesellokomotive \u201eV 11\u201c der Selfkantbahn mit einem offiziellen Namen versehen werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wie begann diese Geschichte? In den 1950er-Jahren waren schmalspurige Eisenbahnen in Deutschland schon weitgehend im R\u00fcckzug begriffen. Einst als Bringer des Wohlstands in L\u00e4ndlichen Regionen unabdingbar, hatte sie damals schon der Stra\u00dfenverkehr vielerorts verdr\u00e4ngt. Um ihren Betrieb rationeller zu gestalten, kauften die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Geilenkirchener\">Geilenkirchener<\/a><\/span> Kreisbahnen 1955 bei<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Kl\u00f6ckner-Humboldt-Deutz\">Kl\u00f6ckner-Humboldt-Deutz<\/a><\/span> in K\u00f6ln zwei kleine Diesellokomotiven mit 135 PS, die die schon \u00fcber 50 Jahre alten<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Dampflokomotiven\">Dampflokomotiven<\/a><\/span> abl\u00f6sten. Schon nach kurzer Einsatzzeit im werksoriginalen Erscheinungsbild wurden die Maschinen durch Aufbau von hohen Pufferbohlen f\u00fcr den Verkehr mit<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23aufgerollten\">aufgerollten<\/a><\/span><span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Regelspur-G\u00fcterwagen\">Regelspur-G\u00fcterwagen<\/a><\/span> angepa\u00dft <a href=\"https:\/\/geilenkirchen-lokal.de\/?p=64747\">und erhielten so ihr markantes \u00c4u\u00dferes, &#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kreis #Heinsberg.
