Der Kreistag des Landkreises Rostock sprach sich am Mittwochabend nach teilweise kontroverser Debatte mit gro\u00dfer Mehrheit gegen weitere Planungen f\u00fcr die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Verl\u00e4ngerung\">Verl\u00e4ngerung<\/a><\/span> der Gleise bis nach<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Rerik\">Rerik<\/a><\/span> im Westen und&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de\/?tag=warnemuende\">#Warnem\u00fcnde<\/a>&nbsp;im Osten aus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daraufhin k\u00fcndigte Landrat Sebastian Constien (SPD) das Ende des millionenschweren Projekts an. \u201eMit dem ablehnenden Votum des Kreistages werde ich das Thema der Streckenerweiterung in der Gesellschafterversammlung nicht weiter verfolgen\u201d, sagte er als deren Vorsitzender. Der Landkreis ist Mehrheitsgesellschafter der Mecklenburgischen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23B\u00e4derbahn\">B\u00e4derbahn<\/a><\/span> Molli GmbH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Studie: Doppelt so viele Fahrg\u00e4ste m\u00f6glich<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eine 2019 in Auftrag gegebene<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Machbarkeitsstudie\">Machbarkeitsstudie<\/a><\/span> der Universit\u00e4t Dresden war zu dem Ergebnis gekommen, dass sich mit der Streckenerweiterung f\u00fcr die historische<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Schmalspurbahn\">Schmalspurbahn<\/a><\/span> die Zahl der Fahrg\u00e4ste<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23verdoppeln\">verdoppeln<\/a><\/span> lie\u00dfe.
