Dar\u00fcber hat der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Aufsichtsrat\">Aufsichtsrat<\/a><\/span> der HSB in seiner heutigen Sitzung im Werniger\u00f6der Rathaus entschieden.<br>Mit der Wahl von Katrin M\u00fcller zur neuen Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrerin verbindet das Aufsichtsgremium der Harzer Schmalspurbahnen einen Aufbruch in die Zukunft und sendet damit gleichzeitig auch ein Signal an die HSB-Besch\u00e4ftigten zur<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Bestandssicherung.\">Bestandssicherung.<\/a><\/span> \u201eDer Aufsichtsrat m\u00f6chte mit der neuen Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrerin die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Zukunftsthemen\">Zukunftsthemen<\/a><\/span> der Harzer Schmalspurbahnen angehen, um auch weiterhin diesem touristischen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Leuchtturm\">Leuchtturm<\/a><\/span> im Harz Strahlkraft zu verleihen\u201c, freute sich der HSB-Aufsichtsratsvorsitzende und Harzer Landrat Thomas<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Balcerowski\">Balcerowski<\/a><\/span> \u00fcber die heutige Entscheidung zur Wahl der 35-j\u00e4hrigen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr die ca. 280 Mitarbeiter der Harzer Schmalspurbahnen sowie in der Harzregion ist die in Quedlinburg geborene und in Rieder aufgewachsene Katrin M\u00fcller keine Unbekannte. Nach Studienabschl\u00fcssen als Bachelor im walisischen Cardiff und als Master an der Hochschule Harz in Wernigerode startete sie im Jahre 2011 ihre berufliche Laufbahn bei der HSB. Zun\u00e4chst als Referentin im Bereich Marketing- und Vertrieb, zwei Jahre sp\u00e4ter dann bereits als Leiterin des Bereichs. Im Jahre 2019 kam noch die Position als stellvertretende kaufm\u00e4nnische Leiterin hinzu, und seit letztem Jahr auch die amtierende Leitung der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Personalabteilung\">Personalabteilung<\/a><\/span> infolge einer Elternzeitvertretung.<br>HSB-Aufsichtsratschef Thomas Balcerowski begr\u00fc\u00dfte nach der heutigen Aufsichtsratssitzung nicht nur die Neubesetzung an der Spitze des Bahnunternehmens, er sprach gleichzeitig auch dem bisherigen langj\u00e4hrigen Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer, der am 30. Juni in den altersbedingten Ruhestand verabschiedet wird, seine gro\u00dfe Dankbarkeit f\u00fcr die geleistete Arbeit der letzten Jahre aus. \u201eMatthias Wagener hat nach der politischen Wende Verantwortung f\u00fcr die HSB \u00fcbernommen und sie zu einem wichtigen touristischen Leuchtturm im Harz gemacht\u201c, w\u00fcrdigte Balcerowski dessen Arbeit und Wirken als Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer. Wagener hatte diese Position im Mai 1997 als Justitiar des damaligen Landkreises Wernigerode zun\u00e4chst vor\u00fcbergehend \u00fcbernommen.
