Im dortigen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Dampflokwerk\">Dampflokwerk<\/a><\/span> hatte die Maschine nach einem<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Treibstangenbruch\">Treibstangenbruch<\/a><\/span> im Januar des vergangenen Jahres eine umfangreiche<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Reparatur\">Reparatur<\/a><\/span> sowie anschlie\u00dfend eine gro\u00dfe Untersuchung erhalten. Die im Jahre 1955 in Dienst gestellte<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Dampflokomotive\">Dampflokomotive<\/a><\/span> geh\u00f6rt zu einer Serie von insgesamt siebzehn rund 700 PS starken \u201eBrockenloks\u201c im Bestand der HSB. Sie wird nach Abschluss der erforderlichen Restarbeiten nun wieder f\u00fcr die kommenden Jahre den einsatzf\u00e4higen Fuhrpark erg\u00e4nzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Im Gegenzug trat heute fr\u00fch dann die<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Mallet-Dampflok\">Mallet-Dampflok<\/a><\/span> 99<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%235902\">5902<\/a><\/span> auf dem Stra\u00dfenwege die Reise ins Dampflokwerk Meiningen an. Die im Jahre 1897 f\u00fcr den Dienst auf der Harzquer- und Brockenbahn gebaute Lokomotive wird hier nach mehrj\u00e4hriger Abstellzeit eine umfassende Untersuchung erhalten, um zum<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Jubil\u00e4um\">Jubil\u00e4um<\/a><\/span> \u201e125 Jahre Harzquer- und Brockenbahn\u201c im kommenden Jahr wieder f\u00fcr den<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Sonderzugdienst\">Sonderzugdienst<\/a><\/span> zur Verf\u00fcgung zu stehen. Neben zwei weiteren 1897 und 1898 gebauten und bei der HSB noch vorhandenen Lokomotiven der vierzylindrigen Mallet-Bauart geh\u00f6rt die 99 5902 noch zur originalen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Ursprungsausstattung\">Ursprungsausstattung<\/a><\/span> der ehemaligen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Nordhausen-Wernigeroder\">Nordhausen-Wernigeroder<\/a><\/span> Eisenbahn Gesellschaft (<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de\/?tag=nwe\">#NWE<\/a>). Eine vierte ebenfalls noch zum heutigen Bestand des kommunalen Bahnunternehmens z\u00e4hlende Mallet-Dampflok kam im Jahre 1920 in den Harz.<br>Insgesamt verf\u00fcgt die HSB \u00fcber 25 Dampflokomotiven der Baujahre 1897 bis 1956, die jedoch nicht alle betriebsf\u00e4hig sind.
