Die beiden Gemeinden wollen sie zu einem Radweg umgestalten.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vergangenen Sonntag war der letzte Zug f\u00fcr die Saison 2023 auf der sogenannten \u201e#Ybbstalbahn-Bergstrecke\u201c unterwegs. Und es k\u00f6nnte der letzte \u00fcberhaupt gewesen sein. Die mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommene Strecke m\u00fcsste kostspielig<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23saniert\">saniert<\/a><\/span> werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Geht es nach den Gemeinden Gaming und Lunz am See, soll die Strecke daher wie die restliche Trasse der ehemaligen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Ybbstalbahn\">Ybbstalbahn<\/a><\/span> zu einem<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Radweg\">Radweg<\/a><\/span> umfunktioniert werden. Dazu wurde in beiden Gemeinden bereits ein<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Grundsatzbeschluss\">Grundsatzbeschluss<\/a><\/span> gefasst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Radweg br\u00e4chte \u201ewichtigen L\u00fcckenschluss\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der Lunzer B\u00fcrgermeister Josef Schachner (\u00d6VP) best\u00e4tigt gegen\u00fcber noe.ORF.at die Bestrebungen, aus der Bahnstrecke einen Radweg machen zu wollen. Die Stimmung in der Bev\u00f6lkerung sei dahingehend, dass die derzeitigen Radwege entlang der Stra\u00dfen nicht ausreichen w\u00fcrden und eine Nutzung der<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Bahntrasse\">Bahntrasse<\/a><\/span> viel sinnvoller w\u00e4re. Au\u00dferdem w\u00e4re dies ein wichtiger L\u00fcckenschluss im bestehenden Netz des Ybbstalradweges.
