Im etwas verlorenen Dorf Son<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Carri\u00f3\">Carri\u00f3<\/a><\/span> im Osten der Insel wurden die Grundvoraussetzungen f\u00fcr so eine Einrichtung bereits geschaffen: Es findet sich dort eine ger\u00e4umige Halle mit einer<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Dampflokomotive,\">Dampflokomotive,<\/a><\/span> zwei<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Diesel-Loks\">Diesel-Loks<\/a><\/span> und immerhin sieben historisch bedeutsamen<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Waggons.\">Waggons.<\/a><\/span> Einige davon \u2013 allerdings nicht alle \u2013 verkehrten ehedem auf der Insel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Momentan wird dieser Ort nur ab und zu der \u00d6ffentlichkeit zug\u00e4nglich gemacht \u2013 f\u00fcr Gruppen oder Schulklassen oder dann, wenn es etwas zu feiern gibt. Wie etwa am vergangenen Samstag. Es wurde dort mit einem durchaus nostalgischen Impetus an die bereits 149-j\u00e4hrige Anwesenheit von Bahnen auf Mallorca erinnert \u2013 zwar nicht mit Pauken und Trompeten, aber mit illustren G\u00e4sten aus der Lokalpolitik und eingefleischten<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Eisenbahnenthusiasten,\">Eisenbahnenthusiasten,<\/a><\/span> denen bei jedem Gedanken an einen nett pfeifenden Zug die Augen \u00fcbergehen und die Ohren schlackern. Ende Februar des Jahres 1875 war zwischen Palma und der Schuhstadt<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Inca\">Inca<\/a><\/span> zum bassen Erstaunen der an lahme Eselskarren und Kutschen gew\u00f6hnten Mallorca-Bewohner erstmals ein<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Dampfzug\">Dampfzug<\/a><\/span> gerattert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Was brachen da f\u00fcr herrliche moderne Zeiten an! \u00dcberall auf der Insel wurden flei\u00dfig Schienen verlegt, Dampfr\u00f6sser und die dazugeh\u00f6rigen Waggons wurden auf Schiffen vom spanischen Festland emsig hergeschafft. Das<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Bahnnetz\">Bahnnetz<\/a><\/span> wuchs und wuchs und wuchs \u2013 und das auf immerhin 300 Kilometer in den 1950er Jahren. Damals kam man mit dem Zug sogar in Orte wie<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Felanitx,\">Felanitx,<\/a><\/span><span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Campos\">Campos<\/a><\/span> oder in die heutigen Deutschen-Paradiese<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Santany\u00ed\">Santany\u00ed<\/a><\/span> und<span class=\"hashtag\"> #<a href=\"https:\/\/archiv.schmalspurbahn.de?s=%23Art\u00e0,\">Art\u00e0,<\/a><\/span> die nunmehr mit der Eisenbahn nicht mehr zu erreichen sind.
