Gut 120 interessierte Zuh\u00f6rer f\u00fcllten das evangelische Gemeindehaus Heuchelheim anl\u00e4sslich eines Vortrages zu einem Thema, das die mittlere oder gar die j\u00fcngere Generation nur noch \u2013 wenn \u00fcberhaupt \u2013 aus den \u201eGeschichtsb\u00fcchern\u201c oder aus Erz\u00e4hlungen der \u00e4lteren Generation kennt: die Bieberlies. Am 30. April 1963, also vor genau einem halben Jahrhundert, zuckelte die Kleinbahn ein allerletztes Mal von Bieber bis zum Abendstern, um dort die letzten Waggons mit Eisenerz aus der Grube K\u00f6nigsberg, die am gleichen Tag ihre Arbeit einstellte, von dem h\u00f6hergelegenen Bieberlies-Gleis in die Waggons der \u201enormalen\u201c Eisenbahn umzukippen.
