Barrierefreie Mobilit\u00e4t spielt im Gebiet des VVO eine gro\u00dfe Rolle: So haben die Unternehmen und der Verbund gemeinsam mit F\u00f6rderung durch den Freistaat in den vergangenen Jahren gro\u00dfe Summen in neue Busse und Bahnen sowie barrierefreie Haltestellen und Bahnh\u00f6fe investiert. Auch die historischen Verkehrsmittel sind, soweit dies technisch m\u00f6glich ist, mit in das Konzept eingebunden. Die Unternehmen und der Verbund informieren auf den Internetseiten zu Ausfl\u00fcgen mit den Bergbahnen, den zwei Schmalspurbahnen sowie der Kirnitzschtalbahn: Technische Daten wie T\u00fcrbreiten oder Einstiegsh\u00f6hen sowie die M\u00f6glichkeit der Anmeldung und der pers \u00f6nlichen Information stehen dabei im Mittelpunkt. Die L\u00f6\u00dfnitzgrundbahn ist nach der Porzellanma nufaktur Mei\u00dfen die am h\u00e4ufigsten besuchte Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeit im Landkreis.
