Gesellschafter und Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrung, vor allem aber die Bundesl\u00e4nder und die Landkreise m\u00fcssen endlich handeln, damit die Geschichte der Eisenbahnen im Harz weitergehen kann.&#8220;  Die HSB bekommen Zusch\u00fcsse von den Bundesl\u00e4ndern Th\u00fcringen und Sachsen-Anhalt sowie den Landkreisen und Gemeinden im Harz. Diese sind aber seit 1993 unver\u00e4ndert geblieben, &#8222;obwohl die Kosten insbesondere f\u00fcr Energie und Instandhaltung seitdem enorm gestiegen sind&#8220;, so der Gewerkschafter. &#8222;Dampfz\u00fcge sind idyllisch, aber teuer.&#8220; L\u00e4nder und Gemeinden m\u00fcssten &#8222;endlich erkennen und w\u00fcrdigen, was die HSB als eines der gro\u00dfen Zugpferde der Region wert ist.&#8220;  Die schlechte finanzielle Situation schlage sich auch in der Bezahlung nieder, so Henning Lange weiter. &#8222;Die L\u00f6hne bei der HSB liegen unter dem Branchenniveau.&#8220; Und dies, obwohl die Arbeitsbelastung &#8222;f\u00fcr viele Besch\u00e4ftigte die Schmerzgrenze \u00fcberschritten hat.&#8220; Der Betrieb k\u00f6nne derzeit &#8222;nur noch mit hohem pers\u00f6nlichem Einsatz der Besch\u00e4ftigten abgesichert werden.&#8220; Die Folgen seien Demotivation und ein hoher Krankenstand. Unter diesen Umst\u00e4nden sei es kaum m\u00f6glich, qualifizierten Nachwuchs zu bekommen. &#8222;Wir wollen nicht, dass die Kessel der Loks bald kalt bleiben und im Selketal die Signale auf Rot gestellt werden.
