Geburtstag der Chiemseebahn Prien &#8211; Stock und erinnerte damit an die Betriebsaufnahme auf dieser Schmalspurbahn am 9.Juli 1887. Bei der Chiemseebahn d\u00fcrfte es sich um eine der wenigen &#8211; wenn nicht gar die weltweit einzige Eisenbahn handeln, die nach 125 Jahren noch immer auf der gleichen Strecke mit der gleichen Lokomotive und den gleichen Waggons verkehrt und immer im privaten Besitz einer Familie stand. Es ist dem Traditionsverst\u00e4ndnis der Eigent\u00fcmerfamilie zu verdanken, dass dieses Kleinod bayerischer Lokalbahngeschichte noch immer im t\u00e4glichen Betrieb steht. H\u00f6hepunkt der Feierlichkeiten war ein Festakt am 25.5.2012 mit Bundesverkehrsminister Dr. Peter Ramsauer und nat\u00fcrlich eine \u00f6komenische Feierstunde zur Segnung der Bahn, ihrer MitarbeiterInnen und Fahrg\u00e4ste.
