April 2012 bei der Harzer Schmalspurbahnen GmbH (HSB) der diesj\u00e4hrige Sommerfahrplan f\u00fcr das 140 km lange Streckennetz auf der Harzquer-, Brocken und Selketalbahn in Kraft. Auf der Brockenstrecke verkehren im Sommerhalbjahr wieder elf Zugpaare t\u00e4glich auf den h\u00f6chsten Harzgipfel und zur\u00fcck. Zahlreiche Sonderfahrten mit dem historischen Traditionszug erg\u00e4nzen das Angebot im Jubil\u00e4umsjahr &#8222;125 Jahre Schmalspurbahnen im Harz&#8220;. Im Selketal wird wieder die durchgehende Dampfzugverbindung an allen Donnerstagen, Freitagen und Samstagen von Quedlinburg zum Brocken und zur\u00fcck angeboten. Damit ist auch die vor allem bei den Eisenbahnfreunden beliebte Doppelausfahrt zweier Dampfz\u00fcge aus dem Bahnhof Eisfelder Talm\u00fchle an drei Tagen in der Woche m\u00f6glich. Mit dem gemeinsamen Ticket &#8222;Harzer-Vier-Bahnen-Angebot&#8220;, das die HSB und die Veolia Verkehr Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH mit dem HarzElbeExpress (HEX) im Juni 2010 erfolgreich eingef\u00fchrt hatten, besteht mit der durchgehenden Dampfzugverbindung auch in diesem Sommer wieder die M\u00f6glichkeit, eine Rundreise auf der Harzquer-, Selketal- und Brockenbahn zu unternehmen. Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr diese interessante Tagestour ist dabei jeweils ein HSB-Bahnhof, weiteres Etappeziel sind jeweils die Bahnh\u00f6fe Wernigerode oder Quedlinburg zur R\u00fcckfahrt mit dem HEX. Auf der Brockenstrecke verkehren wie in den Vorjahren auch t\u00e4glich elf Zugpaare. Der erste Zug startet dabei um 8.55 Uhr in Wernigerode und erreicht den Brockengipfel um 10.36 Uhr, die letzte planm\u00e4\u00dfige Talfahrt startet um 18.31 Uhr. Zahlreiche Sonderfahrten mit dem historischen Traditionszug, weitere Dampfz\u00fcge nach Bedarf sowie Sonderfahrten im Rahmen des Jubil\u00e4umsjahres erg\u00e4nzen hier das Angebot.
