Wie schon sein historischer Vorg\u00e4nger <br \/>zwischen 1905 und 1972, sichert es die Einfahrt des Bahnhofs Sch\u00f6nheide aus <br \/>Richtung Rothenkirchen bzw. St\u00fctzengr\u00fcn. <br \/>Im n\u00e4chsten Jahr j\u00e4hrt sich zum 130sten Mal die Er\u00f6ffnung der ersten und <br \/>einst l\u00e4ngsten s\u00e4chsischen Schmalspurbahn. Sie f\u00fchrte von Wilkau-Ha\u00dflau aus <br \/>in den l\u00e4ndlichen Raum zwischen Westerzgebirge und Vogtland. Ihre <br \/>Entstehung beeinflusste ma\u00dfgeblich die wirtschaftliche Erschlie\u00dfung dieser <br \/>Region und verlief nach ihrer Fertigstellung \u00fcber rund 42 km von <br \/>Wilkau-Ha\u00dflau \u00fcber Sch\u00f6nheide bis nach Carlsfeld. <br \/>F\u00fcr 2011 bereitet der Museumsbahnverein ein Festjahr mit verschiedenen <br \/>Aktivit\u00e4ten und H\u00f6hepunkten anl\u00e4sslich seines 20-j\u00e4hrigen Bestehens und <br \/>nat\u00fcrlich rund um den 130sten Geburtstag der WCd vor. <br \/>Herzst\u00fcck der Veranstaltungen des Festjahres 2011 sind die \u00fcber das ganze <br \/>Jahr verteilten \u00f6ffentlichen Fahrttage mit Dampfzugbetrieb. <br \/>Die feierliche Er\u00f6ffnung des Festjahres findet am Samstag dem 23. April zu <br \/>den Osterfahrtagen statt. Besondere H\u00f6hepunkte werden dabei das <br \/>Bahnhofsfest anl\u00e4sslich 20 Jahre Verein am 14. und 15. Mai, das inzwischen <br \/>traditionelle B\u00fcrstenfest am 03. und 04. September und die Fahrtage \u201e130 <br \/>Jahre WCd&#8220; am 02. und 03. Oktober sein. Mit dem Herbstdampf am 22. und 23. <br \/>Oktober klingt das Festjahr rund um die erste s\u00e4chsische Schmalspurbahn <br \/>aus. <br \/>Die n\u00e4chsten Fahrtage auf der Museumsbahn Sch\u00f6nheide sind die <br \/>Adventsfahrten am 27. und 28.
