(R\u00fcgensche Kleinbahn) auf <br \/>R\u00fcgen werden nach und nach erneuert. Verkehrsminister Volker Schlotmann <br \/>\u00fcbergab am 15.11.10 vor Ort einen Zuwendungsbescheid f\u00fcr die Erneuerung der <br \/>Gleise des rund zwei Kilometer langen Abschnitts zwischen Phillippshagen <br \/>und G\u00f6hren. &#8222;Rechtzeitig vor dem Saisonbeginn wird der Rasende Roland <br \/>wieder voll einsatzbereit sein&#8220;, sagte Schlotmann. <br \/>Die Gleise und das komplette Gleisbett werden neu verlegt, auch die <br \/>Entw\u00e4sserung wird erneuert. Insgesamt werden rund 1,3 Millionen Euro <br \/>investiert, von denen rund 870.000 Euro vom Land \u00fcbernommen werden. Die <br \/>Arbeiten haben vor wenigen Tagen begonnen und sollen sp\u00e4testens im Fr\u00fchjahr <br \/>n\u00e4chsten Jahres abgeschlossen sein. <br \/>Die Gleise sind rund 30 Jahre alt und m\u00fcssen nun nach und nach ersetzt <br \/>werden. Bereits in den vergangenen Jahren waren mehrere Gleisabschnitte <br \/>erneuert worden. <br \/>Der Rasende Roland verkehrt zwischen G\u00f6hren und Putbus (Landkreis R\u00fcgen), <br \/>in der Saison f\u00e4hrt er weiter bis Lauterbach Mole. Die R\u00fcgensche Kleinbahn <br \/>f\u00e4hrt seit mehr als 100 Jahren \u00fcber die Ostseeinsel und ist auch bei <br \/>Touristen beliebt. Die historische Schmalspurbahn hat eine Spurweite von <br \/>750 Millimetern und f\u00e4hrt mit 30 km\/h H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit durch den <br \/>landschaftlich reizvollen S\u00fcdosten der Insel R\u00fcgen.
