Im Gegenzug hat die HSB ihre bisherige Fahrkartenausgabe im Bahnhof Alexisbad geschlossen. An der Rezeption des Hotels Habichtstein sind nun t\u00e4glich und von morgens bis abends das vollst\u00e4ndige Sortiment an regul\u00e4ren Fahrausweisen f\u00fcr Zugfahrten im gesamten HSB-Streckennetz sowie alle Informationen zu Fahrpreisen und \u2013zeiten erh\u00e4ltlich. F\u00fcr Fahrg\u00e4ste bedeutet dies hinsichtlich der \u00d6ffnungszeiten eine deutliche Aufwertung des Services.  Die neue Fahrkartenagentur in Alexisbad ist die mittlerweile sechste ihrer Art in der Harzregion. Weitere Agenturen befinden sich in Benneckenstein, Braunlage, Ilfeld, Niedersachswerfen, und Quedlinburg. Dar\u00fcber hinaus betreibt die HSB an insgesamt sechs Bahnh\u00f6fen im Streckennetz kundenfreundliche Verkaufs- und Informationsb\u00fcros. Hier sind neben Fahrkarten f\u00fcr den Regelverkehr auch alle Souvenirartikel der Bahn sowie Tickets f\u00fcr das umfangreiche HSB-Sonderfahrtenangebot und das beliebte Rockmusical \u201eFaust \u2013 Die Rockoper auf dem Brocken\u201c erh\u00e4ltlich. In der N\u00e4he der jeweiligen Marktpl\u00e4tze der St\u00e4dte Wernigerode und Quedlinburg verf\u00fcgt die HSB zus\u00e4tzlich \u00fcber \u201eDampfl\u00e4den\u201c, wo ebenfalls die gesamte Produktpalette angeboten wird. Ein dritter entsprechender \u201eDampfladen\u201c wurde erst am 30. April dieses Jahres im Empfangsgeb\u00e4ude des Bahnhofs Nordhausen Nord offiziell er\u00f6ffnet.
