Die beteiligten Baufirmen arbeiteten mit gro\u00dfem Engagement daran, das ehrgeizige Ziel der p\u00fcnktlichen Fertigstellung einzuhalten. Gerade der Wintereinbruch der letzten Tage erschwerte die Arbeiten teilweise erheblich.<br \/>P\u00fcnktlich zu den Weihnachtsfeiertagen fahren die beliebten Dampfz\u00fcge nun wieder bis zum Endpunkt der Strecke nach G\u00f6hren. Ab Heiligabend gilt der regul\u00e4re Winterfahrplan. Die Schmalspurbahn verkehrt im Zweistundentakt, sechsmal t\u00e4glich von Putbus nach G\u00f6hren und zur\u00fcck. Lediglich am 24.12. und 31.12.2009 f\u00e4hrt abends das jeweils letzte Zugpaar nicht. Die Reisenden k\u00f6nnen sich bei einer Mitfahrt selbst davon \u00fcberzeugen, wieviel ruhiger die nostalgischen Z\u00fcge jetzt \u00fcber das neu gebaute Gleis rollen. Die Bauarbeiten werden rund zwei Millionen Euro kosten, einige Nacharbeiten vor allem im Bereich der Stationen Baabe und Philippshagen sind noch erforderlich.<br \/>Die R\u00fcBB-Mannschaft hat sich gut auf den erwarteten Publikumsansturm vorbereitet und begr\u00fc\u00dft die Fahrg\u00e4ste in weihnachtlich geschm\u00fcckten Wagen.
