Das Backsteingeb\u00e4ude soll einen \u00fcberdachten Wartebereich bekommen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus werden Toiletten errichtet. Die Kunden k\u00f6nnen direkt vor Ort ihre Fahrscheine kaufen und erhalten zus\u00e4tzlich Fahrplaninformationen. Der Bahnhof wird durch Personal besetzt, was f\u00fcr den Kunden einen h\u00f6here Servicequalit\u00e4t darstellt. Die Gesamtkosten belaufen sich auf rund 125.000 Euro. Das Land \u00fcbernimmt rund 82.000 Euro und der Rest wird von der Eisenbahn-Bau- und Betriebsgesellschaft Pressnitztalbahn \u00fcbernommen.<br \/>Das Abfertigungsgeb\u00e4ude Sellin Ost wird voraussichtlich im M\u00e4rz 2010 fertig gestellt sein. Im M\u00e4rz soll auch die Sanierung der Strecke Sellin-G\u00f6hren komplett abgeschlossen sein. Die Sanierung des Streckenabschnitts Sellin-Philippshagen steht kurz vor dem Abschluss, so dass die Strecke am Heiligabend wieder in Betrieb genommen werden kann.
