der S\u00e4chsischen Schmalspurbahnen. Das hat am Dienstag (30.06.09) \u00d6PNV-Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer Karlheinz Meinel dem Verein zur F\u00f6rderung S\u00e4chsischer Schmalspurbahnen versichert. Daf\u00fcr soll am Bahnhof Muldenberg eine Weiche eingebaut werden, um die vorhandene Regelspurstrecke nach Sch\u00f6nheide-Ost mit dem Vogtlandnetz zu verkn\u00fcpfen.<br \/>Anlass war die Willkommenstour der nachgebauten ersten s\u00e4chsischen Schmalspurlok &#8222;I K Nr. 54&#8220; durch Vogtland und Westerzgebirge. Die &#8222;I K Nr. 54&#8220; machte Station in Klingenthal, Muldenberg, Morgenr\u00f6the-Rautenkranz, Wilzschhaus \/Sch\u00f6nheide-S\u00fcd, Carlsfeld, St\u00fctzengr\u00fcn, Rothenkirchen und der Brauereigutshof Wernesgr\u00fcn. \u00dcberall wurde die Lok auf ihrem Tieflader begleitet von begeisterten Eisenbahnfans mit Kameras und Fotoapparaten. Unter anderem rollte die Lok auch an der Vogtland Arena mit der modernsten Gro\u00dfschanze Europas vorbei. Am Bahnhof Muldenberg wurde dann die Tafel f\u00fcr den Einbau der Weiche enth\u00fcllt.<br \/>Karlheinz Meinel betonte, dass der \u00d6PNV-Verbandsrat bereits beschlossen hat, das Projekt Schmalspurbahn zu unterst\u00fctzen. Wenn die entsprechenden Vertr\u00e4ge unterschrieben sind, soll mit dem Einbau der Weiche begonnen werden. Dadurch sind dann Vogtland und Westerzgebirge wieder wie vor Jahrzehnten durch Schienen miteinander verbunden. &#8222;Das Projekt entspricht unserem Ziel, Nahverkehr und Tourismus immer enger miteinander zu verkn\u00fcpfen&#8220;, betonte Dr. Tassilo Lenk, Landrat des Vogtlandkreises und \u00d6PNV-Vorsitzender, &#8222;dazu geh\u00f6rt auch, dass Einwohner und Besucher, Fahrten mit Bus oder modernen Z\u00fcgen und Touren in Dampflok gezogenen Schmalspurbahn miteinander verbinden k\u00f6nnen.&#8220;<br \/>Doch nicht nur beim Ausbau des Schienennetzes helfen Vogtl\u00e4nder. Auch beim Bau der Schmalspur-Dampflok haben sie mitgewirkt.
