Ab sofort k\u00f6nnen Museen, Hotels, Pensionen, Gastst\u00e4tten, Sportvereine und andere Interessenten ihre touristischen Angebote unter der neuen Dachmarke bewerben. Aufh\u00e4nger f\u00fcr diese Tourismusroute sind 55 \u00fcber den ganzen Freistaat verteilte Stationen, an denen die Vielfalt von Sachsens Schmalspurbahnen dargestellt wird.<br \/>Initiiert hat die \u201eDampfbahn-Route\u201c der Verein zur F\u00f6rderung S\u00e4chsischer Schmalspurbahnen e. V. (VSSB) mit Sitz in Dresden. Die Eisenbahnfreunde haben ein gemeinsames Erscheinungsbild erarbeitet, das ein Logo und eine gemeinsame Farb- und Formensprache beinhaltet. Au\u00dferdem stellt der VSSB weitere Werkzeuge f\u00fcr die Marketingarbeit bereit. Mit Leben sollen die Route nun die Betreiber touristischer Anlaufpunkte aus dem ganzen Land erf\u00fcllen.<br \/>Die \u201eDampfbahn-Route\u201c l\u00e4dt potenzielle G\u00e4ste zum Besuch oder l\u00e4ngerem Verweilen in den Regionen ein, durch die einst Schmalspurbahnen dampften oder bis heute unterwegs sind. Sie wirbt mit dem ganzen Spektrum an touristischen Attraktionen der Landesteile \u2013 verbindendes Element sind dabei die kleinen Bahnen. Im Freistaat gibt es f\u00fcnf Schmalspurbahnen mit t\u00e4glichem Dampfbetrieb, vier Museumsbahnen mit Wochenendbetrieb sowie knapp ein Dutzend Museen mit schmalspurigen Fahrzeugen.
