(VSSB) heute mehrere s\u00e4chsische Unternehmen f\u00fcr ihre Unterst\u00fctzung beim Bau der Dampflok \u201eI K Nr. 54\u201c.<br \/>Das Projekt \u201eNeubau von Sachsens erster Schmalspurloktype\u201c war im Januar 2006 vom VSSB in Dresden gestartet worden. \u201eZiel ist es, die I K im n\u00e4chsten Jahr in Dienst zu stellen. Dann j\u00e4hrt sich der Geburtstag des s\u00e4chsischen Lokomotivk\u00f6nigs Richard Hartmann zum 200. Mal, in dessen Maschinenfabrik die I K einst produziert worden war\u201c, sagte Dr. Andreas Winkler, Vorsitzender des VSSB. Der Kessel und das F\u00fchrerhaus der dreiachsigen Dampflok wurden gleich zu Beginn nachgebaut. In diesem Jahr entstanden weitere wichtige Teile, z. B. viele Steuerungsteile, der Schornstein, der Aschkasten und Gussvorlagen f\u00fcr die Zylinder. Damit steht das Projekt nun vor dem Endspurt. In wenigen Wochen soll die Montage der Lokomotive im Dampflokwerk Meiningen beginnen.<br \/>Projektleiter J\u00f6rg M\u00fcller bedankte sich heute u. a. bei der Firma Siemens aus Chemnitz, bei DB-Waggonbau Niesky, bei Bombardier Transportation aus G\u00f6rlitz sowie bei der Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe AG.<br \/>Der Neubau der Lokomotive findet ohne \u00f6ffentliche Gelder statt. Unternehmen aus ganz Sachsen steuern mit Geld und Sachspenden zum Gelingen des Projektes bei. Bei der Fertigung der Teile werden in vielen Firmen Auszubildende und Jungfacharbeiter beteiligt. Damit f\u00f6rdert der Neubau sowohl das Image der s\u00e4chsischen Metall- und Elektroindustrie als auch die Heimatverbundenheit. Kurz vor der Endmontage sind jetzt Spenden zur Fertigstellung der Lokomotive herzlich willkommen, informierte der VSSB.<br \/>Vorbild f\u00fcr I K Nr. 54 sind die 44 zwischen 1881 und 1892 in Chemnitz gebauten Dampfloks. Die letzte der Maschinen wurde vor \u00fcber 40 Jahren verschrottet. Die neue I K soll auf allen erhaltenen s\u00e4chsischen Schmalspurbahnlinien zum Einsatz kommen. Mit ihrer au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Form und Geschichte soll sie dazu beitragen, die Fahrgastzahlen auf diesen Strecken zu erh\u00f6hen und deren Bekanntheitsgrad als Teil des kulturellen Erbes Sachsens zu erh\u00f6hen.
