Eine Fahrt mit der Dampfeisenbahn durch die verschneite Winterlandschaft hat einen besonderen Reiz. Die \u00d6chsle Schmalspurbahn zwischen Warthausen und Ochsenhausen bietet dieses stimmungsvolle Erlebnis am ersten und zweiten Advent mit Winterdampffahrten zum Weihnachtsmarkt in Ochsenhausen sowie mit Nikolausfahrten f\u00fcr Kinder.<\/p>\n<p>Obwohl die Sommersaison des \u201e\u00d6chsle\u201c zu Ende ist, hat sich die historische Schmalspurbahn noch nicht zur Winterruhe zur\u00fcckgezogen. Damit gro\u00dfe und kleine Eisenbahnfreunde auch einmal durch die Winterlandschaft dampfen k\u00f6nnen, werden am ersten Adventswochenende Winterdampffahrten zum Weihnachtsmarkt in Ochsenhausen angeboten. Dort verwandeln rund 40 Aussteller den stimmungsvollen Klosterhof in ein weihnachtliches Dorf, w\u00e4hrend in der Klosterkirche Konzerte mit adventlicher Musik erklingen. Im Klostermuseum ist die Sonderausstellung \u201eOchsenhauser Maler\u201c zu sehen.<br \/>Am 5. Dezember sowie am darauf folgenden zweiten Adventswochenende besucht dann der Nikolaus das \u00d6chsle und bringt allen Kindern eine Kleinigkeit mit. Die insgesamt rund anderthalbst\u00fcndige Fahrt f\u00fchrt vom Bahnhof Warthausen zun\u00e4chst nach Maselheim, wo die Fahrg\u00e4ste von der katholischen Kirchengemeinde weihnachtlich bewirtet werden. Zur St\u00e4rkung werden kalte und warme Getr\u00e4nke, Geb\u00e4ck sowie kalter und warmer Imbiss angeboten. Anschlie\u00dfend schnauft das \u00d6chsle zur\u00fcck nach Warthausen. Dort lassen sich die Nikolausfahrten  zudem mit einem Besuch des Warthauser Weihnachtsmarkts in der Ortsmitte verbinden.<br \/>Bei allen Winterfahrten kommt die 81 Jahre alte Lok 99 716 \u201eRosa\u201c zum Einsatz, die 1927 in Chemnitz gebaut wurde und seit 2008 im Besitz der \u00d6chsle-Bahn ist. Anschlie\u00dfend dampft sie in die wohlverdiente Winterpause im Warthauser Lokschuppen. Diese Zeit nutzt der \u00d6chsle Schmalspurbahn-Verein f\u00fcr Wartungs- und Restaurierungsarbeiten an den historischen Lokomotiven und Wagen.<\/p>\n<p>INFO: Abfahrt zu den Winterdampffahrten am 29. und 30. November ist ab Warthausen bei Biberach um 11 und 14 Uhr, ab Ochsenhausen um 12.30 und 17.30 Uhr. Die Nikolausfahrten starten am 5., 6. und 7. Dezember um 11 Uhr, 14 Uhr und 16.30 Uhr in Warthausen. F\u00fcr die Nikolausfahrten sind Anmeldungen erforderlich, f\u00fcr die Winterdampffahrten empfohlen. Die Reservierungen nimmt das Verkehrsamt Ochsenhausen, Telefon 07352\/922026, entgegen.
